About Me & My Painting
In my painting, the key elements are structure, layering, and the physical presence of the material. I perceive the canvas as a space for exploring surface, depth, and light, which together create a distinctive visual “chord.” I am interested in the moment when color transforms into matter and when a subtle detail becomes the bearer of a powerful emotion.
My paintings connect emotion, experimentation, and precise work with detail into a unified visual composition. I work with contrasts between rough and delicate structures, with the rhythm of layers, and with the tension between carefully guided gesture and spontaneous, deliberately relaxed intervention. Each painting represents an open dialogue between material, space, and viewer, who is subtly encouraged to discover hidden layers and meanings.

By layering colors and materials, surfaces are composed that directly invite coming closer, a curious gaze, and ideally even the temptation to touch. There is a fascination with how a painting changes depending on whether it is viewed from a distance or from very close up – how a single whole becomes a detail, and how a small detail in turn becomes a new, unexpected whole.
In this work, there is a constant balance on a fine line between spontaneous gesture and deliberate composition. Every intervention on the canvas is a small experiment in a process through which a personal visual language emerges – contemporary, playfully sensitive, and open to all kinds of interpretations. It invites viewers to assemble their own stories, emotions, and unexpected associations within the paintings.
